HELP AND SUPPORT

Stuart can work with the governing body, SLT or other leaders to help implement a strong, inclusive and successful Christian Ethos that is relevant, links with PHSCE, interactive and interesting;

  • Developing Strong Vision and Values. A clear, well communicated and understood vision, backed by values that can be implemented at all levels are vital for any organisation to flourish, but are expected for high schools. Stuart can help define, or re-define vision and values that not only support a clear Christian ethos but help to encourage staff and pupils alike to contribute to a school community.
  • Understanding the Setting. Teaching and leading in highly deprived areas requires different skills and specific understandings of the setting to build an environment for learning, good behaviour, strong community links and maintain good staff morale. Stuart can deliver interactive training sessions, backed by research, to engage all levels of staff in understanding and connecting to an inner city deprived community.
  • SIAMS. Implementing an effective SIAMS strategy is crucial to Church of England schools and can be helpful to other Christian schools. Stuart has experience of writing Self Evaluation Frameworks and preparing for inspections.
  • Spirituality Days. Stuart can deliver Spirituality days that can support and enhance PHSCE super learning (drop down) days. A range of age specific days from values to faith experiences can be provided.
  • Collective Worship. Stuart can both deliver and train others to deliver collective worship that is both engaging and challenging. Age specific activities, stories and resoures can be provided to develop collective worship that teaches and encourages reflection, spiritual growth and thought in adults and young people alike.
